Ken Scotland, sporting legend

The late Ken Scotland

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Ken Scotland (1955) who went on to be capped 27 times playing for Scotland and five times by the British and Irish Lions.

According to The Scotsman, Ken 'was a special player whose talents were honed as a stand-off at George Heriot's School. Those lucky enough to have seen him play speak of Scotland as a gifted and two-footed full-back who paved the way for the likes of Andy Irvine, Gavin Hastings and Stuart Hogg'.

The funeral will take place at Warriston Crematorium on Friday 20 January at 11:00am.
