A group of Heriot's staff (including the Principal) is cycling the 400-mile distance from Gladsmuir, East Lothian, the birthplace of George Heriot, to St Martins-in-the-Field in London, where it is believed George Heriot is buried.
This epic undertaking will cover four days of cycling to commemorate the 400-year anniversary of the publication of George Heriot's Will and his legacy of philanthropy. It is hoped that former pupils and parents will consider sponsoring the cyclists or offering to match fund to make their efforts really count.
All monies raised on this epic ride will go towards We Are All George Heriot campaign.
Please support our cyclists as they undertake this marathon pedal!
