June Day 2026
Former Pupils, Former Staff and Former Governors are warmly invited to join us for June Day on Monday 1 June. This is a major celebration in the school calendar where the school and Heriot's community come together to celebrate the legacy of George Heriot.
Timings for the day are as follows:
1.50pm - Ceremony begins.
2.50pm - Service at Greyfriars Kirk
3.30pm - Reception with light refreshments served in the Quad.
4.30pm - Reception will finish at approximately 4.30pm.
You are welcome to attend the ceremony only, or the ceremony, service and reception. Please note that the Development Team will accompany Development Guests to the service and no tea or coffee facilities will be available between the ceremony and the reception.
Gates will open from 1.30pm. Parking will only be available for blue badge holders and we ask any blue badge holders to be please be on site to park at 1.20pm.
There is no cost but please be aware there is no entry unless you have booked a place beforehand and the format requires you to stand for the length of the ceremony.
There are limited spaces still available for this event and as such we are only taking bookings directly through the Development Office.
