Former Pupil, Roy Liston (1975) had been in contact with his former classmates and the Development Team about organising a 50-year reunion for the Class of 1975.

Today, we were delighted to welcome back 27 Former Pupils from the Class of 1975 for a tour of George Heriot's School.

For many it had been their first time back at school since leaving 50- years ago. Several had travelled across the country to get together with their former classmates, with others travelling from as far as France and the USA.

A replica of the class photo from 1975 was taken on the steps in front of the Quadrangle, and memories of school days were shared while exploring the turrets, old classrooms and the newer parts of campus before the group headed off for lunch.
