It was our pleasure to welcome brothers Donald and Shaun Edwards for a walk down memory lane last Friday.

Donald (1978) and Shaun (1983) had many fun stories to share about their time at Heriot's where they attended alongside their two 2 other brothers. They noted that a lot had changed in 45+ years including the School Hall being split across 2 levels, the closure of the swimming pool, new junior school buildings and the new sports facilities.

A visit to the turret where Donald practised Spanish Guitar was a particular highlight as well as passing through the Principal’s corridor which wouldn't have been an option during their time as pupils. 

Shaun shared great stories about the First Girls joining the school and his incredible sporting experience in various clubs. We spent some time reviewing the extra curricular activities available to today's pupils. While Donald was sad to see Curling wasn't on the list, he was proud to see that Boardgame Club was thriving.
