Distributing Chearfullie on a Marathon scale

Two FPs (2010) take on the challenge of the London Marathon
Two FPs (2010) take on the challenge of the London Marathon

Rory Bentley and Catherine Bell-Webb both Former Pupils from the Class of 2010 are taking on the mammoth challenge of the London Marathon this year, with the aim of raising money for the charity, FOCT - Friends Of The Children of Tanzania.

As a Foundationer at Heriot's, the Friends Of The Children of Tanzania is a cause that is very close to Rory's heart. Rory is running the marathon in honour of his late father who was born in Nairobi and trained as a doctor in East Africa before coming to the U.K.

FOCT is a small charity that provides life transforming assistance in the form of education, medical care and social support to orphans, vulnerable and disabled children in remote villages in North West Tanzania. They operate with no UK overheads which means that all donations go directly to projects on the ground.

Since their time at Heriot's, Rory has gone on to become a film-maker in London and Catherine is now a GP in Edinburgh.

If you would like to Distribute Chearfullie and support their fundraising efforts for FOCT, more details can be found on their fundraising pages below:
