Gordon Hay, Colin Moss, Gordon Watson, Roy Adamson and Philippe Boissière, who originally joined Heriot's in 1955, reunited on Monday 6 October 2025, precisely 70 years and one month after serendipity brought them together for the very first time in Miss Murray’s class.

28 boys originally joined Miss Murray's class B in September 1955 and Philippe Boissière - a regular at the popular Former Pupil Coffee Mornings - has spent many months trying to track each of them down with a view to re-connecting. Unable to join this small reunion on 6 October were Robert Cooper and Ross Millar who are both in touch with Philippe. 

This wonderful assembly is living proof that friendships forged at Heriot's endure.
