You may be looking for a leisurely way to spend the upcoming summer days and holidays, or to introduce friends and family, especially the younger ones, to the history of George Heriot. You may have friends from beyond Edinburgh joining you over the summer months, or indeed just want to be a tourist in your own City for the day.
From Friday 7 June you can explore George Heriot’s life and legacy in a fascinating self-guided trail across Edinburgh.
Each trail pack includes a beautiful, specially commissioned map of Edinburgh and limited edition 400-year anniversary coin sending you through the City to search out landmarks connected to George Heriot and his legacy.
Pre-purchase your trail pack today via the school shop or visit our campaign link, then collect at the launch event on 7 June from 10-12 at Lauriston Gate, or we can arrange for this to be posted to your home address.
All proceeds from the Trail goes towards the We are all George Heriot campaign to raise funds for new six-year bursary places.
