While working through some old files, we decided to take in the view from the window towards Lauriston Place. On doing so, we were 'delighted' to catch the historical graffiti etched into the sandstone windowsill.
The layers of names are hard to decipher but one of the dates carved out of the sill is 1868!
Obviously, all these year later an amnesty must be offered to any Former Pupil who was responsible!
Can you tell us anymore about this popular graffiti spot? The room is situated on the first floor of the Southeast Turret.
