Look at what was waiting in the Quad this morning to welcome our pupils back to school after their summer holidays.
Ed Watt, Class of 1992 created this Lego replica of the Old Building and has lent it to Heriot's to display in The Quad. It has been gazed at and admired by many since the Lauriston Gates opened for the new Session.
Ed has an interest in architecture and has made similar models of the Coliseum and the Sacre Coeur.
A huge thank you to Ed for putting a smile on both the pupil and staff faces this morning - it is truly magnificent.
