Last Thursday, we were delighted to welcome 85 Former Pupils to The Old Queen Street Cafe in Westminster for an evening of festive cheer. 

We were so thrilled to have former pupils join us who left Lauriston Place as recently as 2023, as well as those who's time at Heriot's dates back to 1958. It was truly special to see how a shared education can bring together individuals from across the decades—strangers at first, yet connected through their experiences and stories.

During the evening, we heard from Principal Gareth Warren, and from Robin Baxter (1969) along with other members of the Herioters in London Group who promoted their upcoming London Burns Supper on the 24 January 2026, Herioter President, Gillian Woolman, (1982) and Miranda Henderson, Director of External Relations .

It was a joy to see many familiar faces who regularly support the Development Team’s events in London, and equally delightful to meet so many new attendees. If you were unable to attend this year, there is always next year.
