It was lovely to welcome back Anna Harcke (2025) to Heriot's last week.

Anna's Gran was visiting from the USA and Anna wanted to pop in to her old school and show her family the mural which she painted last summer.

Anna was commissioned by the Art Department to paint the mural in 2025 having won the Dux prize for Art that year. Anna said it took her 1 week to paint the mural, and did you know that the hands in the painting are those of her fellow Herioters.

Anna is now studying Art History at The University of St Andrews.
