We are all George Heriot 2024
The 2024 campaign seeks to raise £98,640 to fund new six year bursaries at George Heriot's School.
The Herioter Hub is a dedicated platform to connect Herioters around the globe and I hope today you will sign up to become a member of this forum.
An education at George Heriot’s School is a unique bond shared by over 10,000 former pupils. This platform will enable you to reach out to classmates, create or join specialist industry, interest or sports groups, share research papers for peer review, post jobs, promote your business and become actively involved in the Heriot’s community. It is a platform for you, used only by Herioters.
I am proud to be at the helm of George Heriot’s School and look forward to meeting you in due course.
With warm wishes
Gareth Warren
As a former Foundationer, and thereby a latter-day and grateful beneficiary of George Heriot’s original vision and generosity, it is a particular privilege to have been invited to take on the role of Herioter FP President for this current two year period.
United and shaped by a shared experience, Herioters comprise a wonderfully diverse and geographically scattered community incorporating a great reservoir of talent and experience. The Herioter Hub offers opportunity not only to stir memory and rekindle friendship but also to create new connections, share expertise and contribute to the flourishing of the next generation.
In addition to the Hub there are a variety of opportunities throughout the year for former pupils to engage with one another and with the school - monthly Coffee Mornings, Reunions and other well-publicised events. If you have opportunity to do so, can I encourage you to make full use of these – and hopefully we may have a chance to meet up.
Please do get in touch, I would be delighted to hear from you. (FPpresident@george-heriots.com)
